Wow Warp!  Quite a site!  Your riding areas look like Northern Arizona near me.  The terrain, trees and shrubs, soil conditions and everything look exactly like some areas I have seen here.  Very cool and thank you for all the time you took with the suspension stuff.  I will be using it and will probably be in touch with you as I start to figure out what I want from my bike.  It's a Specialized FSR Enduro Expert from 2000 but it is like new and was is my first ever full suspension bike.  I have been riding for about 20 years and never bought into it.  As  I got older, I figured I wouldd try it to see if it helps.  It has been upgraded with a Marz Bomber XC600 with TST2 (which I can only assume from my research makes it a XC600SL since it is a 2005 I think) and Hayes hydro disc brakes.  In fact I was noticing that it's rear suspension is really similar to your Titus.  I rode it for the first time today and noticed that the front fork action is really slow on compression.  Almost like stiction.  The guy I bought it from said it was a near new fork so I'll ride it a couple more times and break it in.  The shock is a Fox Float R and it is okay.  Kindy spiky and the rebound knob does almost nothing.  Lowering the pressure seemed to help but made it almost too plush.  I might just keep fiddling with it until I really learn how to ride full suspension.  It is a little different in technique than riding a hardtail.

Anyway-thanks for the advice on MTBR and we will be chatting again-Cory

I have an 05 AM SL fork. Your embedded Marzocchi training video on how to flush and refill the EFT cartridge saved my bacon today.

Much thanks!!!

Hi,
I happened upon your site through MTBR. I was looking at your post about rebuilding a Roco Air R, and found your section here to be a lot of help. My son just bought a used one for his Kona Howler (he has a Pike 454 also by the way, and loves it!). Unfortunately, the Roco needs a bit of work. The rebound dial doesn't seem to be working at all, and therefore it rebounds very fast, causing a clunk when it tops out. I think the lower seal is gone also, as there is a bit of oil on the stantion after compression.

Luckily (?) I live in Vancouver, and we have the Marz service depot here. But I'm waiting on a quote to see what it would cost to fix, or if I can do it myself with a seal kit.

Anyway...great site, love the photos, and the info!

Happy riding.
John

Great stuff on the Aaal Mountain 1 servicing. Thanks!
One question, I've tried to get the TST side back in and the bladder bunches up at the top, so I can't get it all of the way in. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have found a number of very helpful posts on the internet, by you, about Magura forks. Mostly the Phaon, but you also offered to email someone a service manual for the Vidar. Do you still have this?
Many thanks,
Angus.
