Rock Shox Forks...

Recently I got a RS Pike.

I gotta say I'm loving it. Adjusters work and all the bells and whistles are there for a reason and are easy to use to get the fork dialed without cracking it open.

A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine brought in his Reba for an oil change.

I was surprised at how easy are these things to work on. Man, forks don't get much easier. I didn't serviced the Dual Air cartridge, to be honest but even that doesn't look so difficult and Rock Shox service instructions are top notch AND available... Try that with Marzocchi!!!

However, not everything has been a honeymoon... The Pike has developed a clunking noise when set to any travel setting but the extremes and a hissing sound each time it's compressed when set at 140mm.... None of them affect performance, but they're only annoying. I'll post up anything I find out regarding to these issues.

Because of the available documentation, I will not go into the details of the service. I'll just leave a few pics...

Enjoy...
